All your recordings, text thoughts, and settings are stored entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to the cloud or synced to a server — your data stays private on your phone.
Yes. Deleted thoughts move to Trash and are recoverable for 30 days. After 30 days, they are permanently deleted. To recover a thought, open Trash and tap Restore.
Use categories to organize thoughts by type (App Ideas, Journal, Goals, etc.). You can filter by category from the Thoughts list, and rename or delete categories anytime. Uncategorized thoughts are filed as "?" and can still be searched.
Open the Record Memory popup, tap Record Thought, and speak. The app records in AAC format (high quality, small file size). Stop recording when done — your thought is saved instantly. You can also type a text thought instead.
Yes. Tap the cast icon (⚡) in the menu and select your Chromecast or AirPlay device. The current painting will stream to your TV and update as you shuffle through the gallery.
The app will instead display your custom uploaded images as backgrounds. You can upload photos from your library, and they'll rotate like the museum paintings.
Pensa Pro removes ads, unlocks the ability to lock private thoughts (with a padlock), export your entire thought collection, filter to only favorite thoughts, and filter to only paintings you've favorited.
Pensa Pro is $2.99 per month, billed monthly. You can cancel anytime from your device's Settings → Subscriptions. The first purchase includes a 7-day free trial (terms vary by region).
Open Settings → Subscriptions (or Apps → Subscriptions on some devices), find Pensa, and tap Cancel Subscription. You'll keep Pro access through the end of the billing period.
Pensa is a single-device app — your thoughts are only stored on the device where you create them. If you have multiple phones or tablets, you'll need to maintain separate collections on each.
No. Pensa doesn't track your activity, collect analytics, or require an account. AdMob ads (in the free version) collect some anonymized data — see our Privacy Policy for details. All your thoughts are yours alone.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple: Settings → your Apple Account → Subscriptions → {{SUB_NAME}} → Cancel. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
