Auto-Delete Camera

Support & Help

Deleto is the camera for photos and videos you don't want to keep forever. Capture something, set an auto-delete timer, and Deleto removes it automatically when the time is up. Below are answers to common questions.

How do I set how long a photo or video lasts?

Before you capture, choose a timer (1 minute, 1 hour, 1 day, 3 days, and more) on the main screen. Your capture will automatically delete when that timer runs out.

Can I change the timer after I've already taken something?

Yes. Tap "Edit Timer" on any item in your gallery (or inside the full-screen viewer) and pick a new duration. The countdown resets from that moment.

Where are my photos and videos stored?

They're saved in a dedicated DELETO album/folder on your own device, kept separate from your main camera roll. They never leave your device.

How do I delete everything at once?

Use the "Delete All" button. On iPhone and newer Android versions, your phone will show a single confirmation before removing everything in the DELETO album/folder.

Why does my phone ask me to confirm deletions?

For your safety, iPhone and Android require a confirmation before an app deletes items from your photo library. Deleto batches deletions so you only confirm once, even for many items.

Can I back something up before it deletes?

Yes — Deleto has an optional email feature so you can send a copy to yourself before an item expires. You can also use the Share button to save or send a copy.

How do I remove ads?

Deleto is free and supported by ads. Ad-free options may be offered in a future update.
