This Privacy Policy explains how Deleto ("the app," "we," "us") handles your information. Deleto is operated by Alexandro Gomez. We built Deleto to be private by design: your photos and videos stay on your device, and we do not collect or sell your personal content.
Deleto lets you capture photos and videos that automatically delete on a timer you choose. This media is stored on your own device — saved into a dedicated "DELETO" album or folder in your phone's gallery. We do not upload, transmit, store, or have any access to your photos or videos. They never leave your device through Deleto, and they are permanently deleted from your device when their timer expires or when you delete them manually.
Deleto requests access to your camera (and microphone, for recording video with sound) solely to let you capture media inside the app. This access is used only while you are actively using the camera. We do not record or access your camera or microphone in the background.
Deleto requests permission to save to and manage media in your photo library so it can store your captures in the DELETO album and delete them when their timer expires. This permission is used only for the app's core auto-delete function.
Deleto includes an optional Share feature that lets you send or save a copy of a photo or video using your device's built-in share options before it is deleted. This uses your device's native sharing and is entirely under your control.
Deleto displays ads through Google AdMob to support the free version of the app. Google AdMob may collect certain device and usage information (such as a device advertising identifier) to serve and measure ads. This data is handled by Google in accordance with its own policies. You can learn more about how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. On iOS, Deleto will ask for your permission before any tracking, and you may decline.
Deleto is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
